Vice President JD Vance is launching Foundry School today at the Donald J. Trump Institute of Peace. The State Department’s national program is a Pax Silica project to train entrepreneurs, engineers, technicians, and industrial leaders necessary to rebuild American manufacturing.
Spokesperson Tommy Pigott said, “American manufacturers will need an estimated 3.8 million skilled workers by 2033 in semiconductors, defense, energy, and beyond, and Foundry School exists to make sure Americans fill those jobs.”
The House Energy and Commerce Committee’s Subcommittee on Environment, chaired by Representative Gary Palmer of Alabama, is holding a legislative hearing to safeguard America’s drinking water.
